Welcome to The Butterscotch House, our lovely family home! It is your home away from home and yes we are family! The Butterscotch House was built in the 1870's. John & Betty Schlieder bought it in 1976 and carried out extensive renovations which took approximately 3 years to complete. The Schlieders kept the Victorian feeling with a beautiful staircase, large rooms, tin ceiling, amazing woodwork and beautiful etched glass doors. We moved into The Butterscotch House in October 2002 and have redone all the rooms to make them warm and inviting.

Guests are encouraged to use our common areas, which include our formal living room with a 1800's Square Chickering Piano. Lay back and read a book, watch TV, or have a quiet conversation with friends. The dining area will entice you with the smell of delicious breakfast foods and baked goods. Have a romantic breakfast in our beautiful sun room or, during the summer, enjoy our beautiful enclosed sun porch. During the summer enjoy our lovely garden area, listening to the birds chirping and water flowing in our pond.

All areas are tastefully decorated, yet comfortable enough to make you feel at home.
